General

• There is to be no trolling, flaming, harassing, or otherwise starting of fights. Also, be aware that politics and religion are two things that you generally shouldn't discuss as they tend to make tempers rise.
  
• No racism or other "isms" are allowed here.
  
• Do not post any material
  

Posting

• All posts must be a minimum of 200 words.
  
• Please post in third person, past tense.
  
• Proper grammar and spelling are expected and it is suggested that you run your posts through a word processor to check for faults. It follows that chatspeak and other computer slang is not allowed.
  
• Cursing is allowed, however don't overuse it. Also, refrain from using the "F" word.
  
• Horsespeak/Wolfspeak is highly discouraged. Instead, go to an online dictionary or thesaurus to find synonyms.
  
• There is to be no god-modding (behaving as if your character is invincible, all-knowing, or otherwise perfect) or powerplaying (controlling another player's character without their permission).
  
• Only Stat Breeding is allowed on this board. That means no graphic breeding and no long breeding.
  

Joining

• Go to the Magic Begins board and select "new thread", you will be presented with a standardized form for you to use. Please do not change the form in any way and make sure that you have met all the word count requirements (word processors are also very handy for getting word counts).
  
• Do not join a Mary Sue of any sort. Aim for originality.
  
• Do not join pregnant mares or equines under the age of 2.
  
• Only two horses in all of Cillvana are capable of magic, the mythicals. Unless you have won one of these two roles, you may not create a horse with any magic.
  
• Wait until your application has been accepted before beginning to role play.
  

Aging

• Each season consists of two real weeks (fourteen days).
  
• Foals mature one year per week until they reach the age of three at which they are considered adults.
  
• Adults age once every two months.
  

Claiming

• Note that there is no claiming board, mares and bachelor stallions may wander where they will.
  
• Mares cannot claim lands or horses unless the equine is under the age of two, in which case it would be referred to as "adoption".
  
• Stallions can claim lands and horses as long as the equine is over the age of two.
  
• The only way to forceclaim a mare would be for the stallion to fight the mare for possession.
  
• To claim an empty land, a stallion must post a claim and wait for it to be accepted by the staff. This stallion will become a king.
  
• This is where this RP becomes fairly feudal. For every four stallions (three years or older) a king has under his command, he can PM a staff with one request for a subboard which will become one of the stallion's lands (to be decided by the king). The stallion will then become a chieftain beneath the king. Thus, if there are eight stallions of age under a king's dominion, he can place a second subboard request and so on.
  
• All tribal positions may be challenged, from chief to king, however, challenges for the kingship of a certain tribe can only be made once a month (chieftains can be challenged up to once every two weeks), and only with high stakes.

• Avatars are to be no larger than 100x100
